Summary

A leading premium care home near Skipton is now looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN Adult or RMN) to join them as their Deputy Manager.

Rated fully “Good” by the CQC, this home was purpose-built for specialist nursing, residential and dementia care at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The home is luxuriously furnished according to a research-based, memory-friendly design plan for utmost comfort, and fits right into its lovely countryside surroundings and close-knit village community. Residents are able to make the most of scenic views with beautiful gardens to enjoy, as just one way they are encouraged to preserve life skills, get gently active, and retain a sense of purpose and inclusion.

As the Deputy Manager, you will also be the Clinical Lead and work closely with the General Manager to monitor compliance, oversee clinical development, and assure quality – including directly on the floor, through hands-on nursing care. Your leadership will ensure each resident gets the best healthcare and home experience possible, for an unmatchable quality of life.

In return, the home can offer you one of the sector’s best packages for CPD (including funded options to upskill, gain new qualifications, and further progress) alongside rewards, recognition, and lifestyle support for a holistically fulfilling role. Additionally, a £2000 sign-on bonus is now available* as a warm welcome to the team.

This is a permanent, full-time position for a Deputy Manager (Registered Nurse), days only.

Please note that the home is in a rural area with limited public transport — you will need to drive for a reasonable commute to and from the home.

Person specification:

• (Essential) Registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (RN Adult / RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN / RMHN).
• (Essential) Experience caring for older adults with complex health needs.
• (Essential) Clinical leadership experience – e.g. conducting risk assessments and investigations, managing a budget, and supporting the development of a clinical team.

Benefits / enhancements include:

£2000 welcome bonus*
• Automatic enrolment into the group’s profit share scheme
• On-site parking
• Reimbursed NMC renewal fees
• Substantial free learning & development opportunities
• Extensive range of holiday, retail, and leisure discounts
• Life insurance coverage
• Health and wellbeing assistance programme
• Company pension scheme
• Monthly staff lottery offering cash prizes
• Recognition and reward schemes
• Unlimited access to Refer-a-Friend bonus scheme
• And more!
