Summary
We are currently expanding our team to include Generalist Lecturers who will work in the South West Region, across a small designated cluster of prisons.
The role is full time, working 37 hours per week.
Within the South West Region, we are the education provider in 9 prisons, and we currently have vacancies for the following cluster:
Dorset Cluster: HMP The Verne, HMP Portland and HMP Guys Marsh.
As this is a regional role, you will need to hold a full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Day to day duties
To deliver a high-quality curriculum delivering a variety of courses, including English and Maths or an alternative as led by the Weston College management team.
Organisational and administrative work.
Preparation, assessment and marking.
Required skills and qualifications
A Degree, or professional qualification, which is appropriate to the work.
All candidates for teaching posts must possess a recognised Teaching Qualification, or be prepared to gain within the first two years of service, with the assistance of the College.
