Marshall Land Systems require a new Manufacturing Engineer to join the Operations Planning Department.
The successful candidate will be expected to support, and where required, take the lead on projects with the following responsibilities;
Your responsibilities in this role include:
- Concurrent Engineering and input into Product Development
- Supporting the bid, estimating and ongoing product cost development processes
- Creation of Standard Routings, work instructions and BoM's from Engineering data
- Setting of estimated Operation times
- Creation of Shop Orders and Job Packs
- Involvement in Design amendments and the further updates to manufacturing data and the rework of Parts
- Reporting of Planning and Manufacturing progress
- Liaising with Purchasing for outsource of work
- Tooling/ Jig Design & Development
- Support and pursue Continuous Improvement initiatives
Apply if you have most of the following:
- Experience within a Manufacturing or Production Environment
- Experience with the use of MRP/ERP systems and proficient in the use of MS Office applications
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and other related data
- Apprenticeship, Professional Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
