Marshall Land Systems require a new Manufacturing Engineer to join the Operations Planning Department.

The successful candidate will be expected to support, and where required, take the lead on projects with the following responsibilities;

Your responsibilities in this role include:

  • Concurrent Engineering and input into Product Development
  • Supporting the bid, estimating and ongoing product cost development processes
  • Creation of Standard Routings, work instructions and BoM's from Engineering data
  • Setting of estimated Operation times
  • Creation of Shop Orders and Job Packs
  • Involvement in Design amendments and the further updates to manufacturing data and the rework of Parts
  • Reporting of Planning and Manufacturing progress
  • Liaising with Purchasing for outsource of work
  • Tooling/ Jig Design & Development
  • Support and pursue Continuous Improvement initiatives

Apply if you have most of the following:

  • Experience within a Manufacturing or Production Environment
  • Experience with the use of MRP/ERP systems and proficient in the use of MS Office applications
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and other related data
  • Apprenticeship, Professional Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
