The job would be mainly based in CYPED including on late shifts and weekends, there would also be time on the rota dedicated to Self Development Time which can be used for study (see below) or in the co-located Urgent Care Centre and the paediatric HDU at the neighbouring Trust to assess a range of severity of paediatric illness and injury.

Funding for two relevant paediatric emergency medicine courses (e.g. APLS/EPLS/ATLS) and the Diploma in Child Health (subject to eligibility) or Postgraduate Certificate on Paedatric Emergency Medicine from Edinburgh University will be made available.

At North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust our main priority is, and always will be, to provide safe and high quality care to our patients every day; the kind of care we would want for ourselves and our loved ones.
