Based at Wathwood Medium Secure Hospital but may also be required to travel to other trust sites.

Fixed term, up to full time Band 8a position (up to 1WTE, up to 37.5 hours per week, no weekends/Bank Holidays).

We are looking for an experienced clinical mental health pharmacist with a relevant postgraduate qualification. You should have an existing or growing interest in leadership and working in secure mental health settings.

The post is permanent and up full time, although part-time and job share would be considered. Consideration will also be given to those returning to practice.

This unique post offers a qualified and experienced pharmacist the opportunity to further their career by working clinically in a medium
secure forensic mental health setting, and leading and supervising our expert and enthusiastic clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

You will be based at Wathwood Hospital, which provides medium secure services for men. Medicines supply is via an external provider under a service level agreement. There is no late night, weekend or Bank Holiday working.

You will have responsibility for a clinical caseload and work as an integral multidisciplinary team member. You will be encouraged to use your skills to influence and optimise patient care. Your involvement in our clinical pharmacy services will allow you an exclusive opportunity to develop or extend understanding and expertise of working in a secure mental health setting.

We deliver intellectual disability, mental health, community health, forensic, and offender healthcare services across Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, and South Yorkshire. We are one of the largest mental health and community Trusts in the East Midlands and one of Nottinghamshire's biggest employers. We also host national and regional services, such as the National High Secure Deaf Service and the Nottingham Centre for Transgender Health.

We offer a variety of employee-led staff networks, including Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) groups, the Green Champions network, the Freedom to Speak Up network, the Health and Wellbeing Champions network, and the Menopause Champions network. These networks play a vital role in supporting our diverse workforce and promoting a culture of inclusivity.

The health and wellbeing of our colleagues is a top priority. We invest significantly in this through our in-house occupational health and staff counselling services, supported by a dedicated Health and Wellbeing team.

The Trust is committed to reducing its carbon emissions, with a specialised Energy and Environmental team working to ensure compliance with environmental legislation, enhance our environmental performance, and achieve our net-zero commitment
