Summary
Technical Officer (Disabled Facilities Grant) needed in Maidstone.
The rate is £15ph PAYE
This is a temporary role
The reference number is: OR549
The successful candidate will manage and process applications for all types of grants and loans in relation to housing.
They will provide technical advice in relation to building work to Staying Put and housing enforcement officers. Inspect properties, determine options and costs for disabled adaptions, and repair.
They will undertake surveys and joint visits with Occupational health staff of dwellings in response to applications for Disabled Facilities and other forms of housing grant assistance and determine most appropriate and cost-effective options. They will also produce detailed accurately measured schedules of works and small-scale design and drawing of sufficient quality that the applicant's chosen contractors are able to accurately and competitively estimate the cost of the grant-aided works.
