Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Family Support Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will use your professional knowledge and expertise to support children, young people, and their families by delivering timely and effective interventions and working within a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with practitioners, professionals, children, and families to develop and implement multi-agency support plans.
Lead and work within a professional integrated family support and safeguarding service.
Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote the welfare and safeguard children and young people.
Champion specific practice areas such as domestic violence, substance misuse, disability, and parenting.
Manage and prioritize a complex caseload, ensuring high standards of practice and customer care.
Engage with children and families through persistent outreach and promote their active participation in assessments and support plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case recordings and participate in performance management processes.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role within child and family support services.
Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and policies.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a complex caseload effectively.
