We are delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, RCVS accredited practice in the vibrant city of Chelmsford, Essex. Our client has been a cornerstone of equine veterinary care in the region for over 30 years. They are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to become a permanent, long-term member of their international, dynamic, and sociable team. This role offers a supportive and friendly environment where you can establish yourself as a key team member.
The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital x-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy and gastroscopy, laser therapy/surgery, arthroscopy, gait analysis, specialised endodontic procedures, surgical facilities, examination rooms, stables, and isolation facilities.
You will join an outstanding team of veterinary professionals, including 3 clinical directors, 5 vets, 4 RVNs, and a supportive administrative team. Our client is a UKVI certified sponsor and will assist with visa applications.
The ideal candidate will have proven ambulatory experience, a specialised interest, and a desire to develop their own client base. You should be confident working independently on the road and able to quickly build rapport with clients. Comprehensive CPD, including support for studying for a certificate, will be strongly encouraged, and an attractive remuneration package is offered.

The Rota:
• Full time role
• Monday - Friday: 9am to 5pm
• 1 weeknight and 1:4 weekends on-call with 1 day in lieu following a weekend on call
