Summary
We are seeking multiple motivated Wind Turbine Technicians to join our client’s construction team, initially based in Wallsend, Newcastle. Our client is a leader in the renewable energy sector and is dedicated to building sustainable solutions with ongoing projects across various locations.
Responsibilities:
• Install primary and secondary containment routes
• Route cables to final locations
• Gland and terminate cables
• Install electrical accessories for various systems including small power, lighting, communication, and navigation
• Work within a team and report progress to the site supervisor
• Ensure foundation readiness prior to loadouts via completion checklists
• Terminate equipment and distribution boards
• Access multiple platforms via vertical ladders (training and PPE provided)
Desirable:
• NVQ level 3 in electrotechnical installation or equivalent (qualified Electrician)
• AM2 completion or equivalent trade test
• Testing and Inspection – C&G 2391 or C&G 2394/5
• IPAF 3a & 3b
• CCNSG/EMS Safety passport
• Working at height training
• Industrial experience and previous work in the onshore/offshore wind industry
