2x Exciting long term Teaching Assistant positions in an OFSTED 'Good' two form primary school!
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for two Teaching Assistants. The role is offered on a full-time basis in Reception and Key stage Two. Providing general classroom assistance and delivering interventions to small groups within in the class as well as supporting children with SEN.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the teacher in delivering work with the children in the class
- Working with pupils supporting with their engagement and phonics development
- Developing curricular knowledge as required by the school.
- Undertaking observations of pupils and contributing to pupil records
- Planning and leading targeted interventions to support pupils in development areas.
Ideal Requirements:
- Experience working in a primary school (Reception or Key Stage Two)
- Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
- Level 2/3 Teaching assistant, Childcare qualification, or relevant degree
- Experience or a willing to work with children with SEN.
- A good team player be able to work with other staff and under direction of class teacher.
- A positive caring and can-do approach
