Social Care & Education are looking for Nursery Practitioner to work within a well-established nursery based in Enderby. We are looking for a fun, enthusiastic person who is happy to get involved with the children. Encouraging children to use their imagination, being outside in all weathers, reading lots of stories and happy to give hugs when children require them.
The Job Role
To record children’s progress though out the day
Build and maintain relationships with parents/carers and staff.
Provide support to all other nursery staff and management.
Adhere to the nursery’s policies and procedures.
Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and hygiene at all times
Create imaginative, fun and educational activities for all children
Personal Specification
You must be qualified in Early Years at Level 3
Sound working knowledge of EYFS is essential
Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong partnerships with parents/carers
Outstanding knowledge and understanding of how babies and young children learn
Support and work well with other staff at the Nursery
You must be prepared to support where needed for example preparation of snacks, cleaning.
