AST Housing Officer PO2

Description
We are seeking a motivated and professional individual to join our team as an AST Housing Officer PO2. This position is responsible for managing and maintaining our affordable housing properties, ensuring that they meet all safety and compliance standards. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of property management for our affordable housing units, including tenant inquiries, lease agreements, maintenance requests, and rent collection. -
Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any safety or maintenance issues, ensuring that all properties are kept in excellent condition. -
Collaborate with external agencies and organizations to ensure that our housing programs comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines. -
Assist tenants with any questions or concerns they may have, providing exceptional customer service and support. -
Conduct eligibility assessments for prospective tenants, evaluating their income, background, and housing needs to determine eligibility for our affordable housing units. -
Coordinate with contractors and vendors to schedule and oversee repair and maintenance work, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget. -
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to tenant agreements, rent payments, maintenance requests, and other property management tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field. -
Demonstrated experience in property management, preferably with affordable housing units. -
Strong knowledge of housing laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. -
Exceptional organizational and time management skills. -
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. -
Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment. -
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Rate: £151.95
