Summary
As a HBPoS nurse you are responsible for the care and safety of all service users who come into contact with our service and for the staff whom work alongside you. You will maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with internal and external parties, including but not limited to: NHS 111, police, AMHP service, EDT, medical team, GP service, A&E/liaison, community mental health teams, crisis teams and SPA/bed management (internal and external). You will carry out and support your team to carry out mental state examinations, physical health assessments, comprehensive risk assessments and de-escalation interventions. A major aspect of this role is ensuring the correct S136 process has been followed, including prior to the service users arrival and whilst they are receiving care in the service and ensuring the correct escalation process is followed where necessary
