Summary

TeacherActive are supporting one of our partner schools in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a talented Mathematics Teacher to join their team from September 2024.

This mathematics teaching role is based at a thriving and inclusive educational community committed to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and the holistic development of their students. Located in the picturesque town of Tunbridge Wells, the school provides a supportive and enriching environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging mathematics lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

  
  

  • Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.

    
    

    • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.

      
      

      • Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and training.

        
        

        • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and a love for learning.

          
          

          • Support the school's Catholic ethos and values in all aspects of teaching and interaction with students.

            
            

            Qualifications and Experience:

            • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

              
              

              • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at secondary school level, preferably including A-level.

                
                

                • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

                  
                  

                  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

                    
                    

                    • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.

                      
                      

                      • A commitment to staff well-being and work-life balance.
