Our client are market leaders in high quality digital short run printing of paperback and hardback books and journals in mono and colour. There focus is on offering excellent production values and service, but at competitive rates. They also offer eBook conversion and distribution services and trade book binding.
They are seeking a full-time Despatch Coordinator-Driver/Print Finisher to join their friendly team based in Hockley, Essex. The ideal candidate will live locally to Hockley and possess some knowledge of print finishing and have a flair for excellence.

• Print finishing knowledge a bonus – but not essential
• Fork truck licence a bonus – but not essential
What will your role look like?
• Ensure vehicle is maintained according to manufacturer’s requirements, keep it clean
• Role requires a safe and courteous driver, with the emphasis on safety
• Carry out tasks and operate any required machines and processes associated with the smooth running of the binding area as requested by the Manager
• Comply with health and safety regulations within the team and the environment ensuring safe practice regarding use of equipment (i.e. Finishing equipment, lift truck, manual handling equipment etc) and general good housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
