Summary
We are currently recruiting for mixing room operatives for a busy production company based in Huddersfield (HD1).
This is initially a temporary role through us, but has the potential to go permanent with the client. It is an excellent opportunity to join a well established, rapidly expanding company 5 minutes from Huddersfield Town Centre.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Working in the mixing room making chemical sealants
- Weighing out the raw materials (some bags are pre-weighed)
- Reading off a works order sheet and adding the correct amount of the different products, powders and chemicals
- Working over an open pot
- Each product has it's own job description and recipe, so employees only need to follow the correct works sheet
- Full PPE is provided
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience working in both manufacturing and chemical environments
- Must be ok with heavy lifting due to the physical nature of the role
- Must be ok working in a dusty manufacturing environment
- Have to be able to commit to the shift patterns
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Either 06.00am-14.00pm shift or
- 14.00pm-22.00pm shift
Salary:
- £11.44 hourly rate
