The role
As a Site Security Office, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will provide the first line of defence / point of contact and control authorised access to site providing a friendly efficient service for all who attend site.

Day-to-day, you'll be part of a team who provide the first line of defence and response at site, you will ensure compliance with site security plans and emergency arrangements through operational activity at the receptions areas and gate house.

  • Act as designated First Aider
  • Carry out security duties for designated Urenco Buildings including the monitoring of CCTV
  • Achieve SIA Guarding / Door Supervisor qualifications and licensing to enable the resilience support at the Gate House if the need arises particularly in an emergency situation
  • Carry out Fire Marshall role for designated occupied Urenco buildings, take command when required to ensure the safety of occupants by directing them out of the building ensuring the roll call is complete
  • Maintain database for performance in order to capture demand, produce reports in line with business expectations in a timely manner

This role is full time, 42 hours per week and is based on site at Capenhurst, Cheshire.

Essential experience of the Site Security Office

  • Previous administration experience to include Excel skills
  • Ability to prioritise work streams

Qualifications for the Site Security Office

  • SIA Guarding or Door Supervisor or First Aid at Work / Fire Marshall would be an advantage however; no qualifications are required


Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
