We are currently recruiting for Electricians for the HS2 project, to be based in Coleshill, Warwickshire.
THIS ROLE IS INSIDE IR35 AND THEREFORE PAYE ONLY.
Duties:
- PAT Testing
- Rewiring
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Electrical support to the delivery team
Health, Safety & Environmental:
- Demonstrates a personal commitment to safety and encourages others to work safely through training, briefings
- Be familiar with the requirements defined in the Safety and Health at Work
- Attends near miss/accident investigations when regards equipment.
- Attends daily briefings.
- Educates and empowers colleagues and subcontractors on the importance of stopping any activity if any discrepancy with the basic procedure is identified
- Participates in accident/incident investigations.
- Adheres to periodic risk reviews
- Attends H&S committee on a regular basis to consult workers and engage with them to promote and develop effective measures to secure Health, Safety and welfare
Requirements:
- Fully qualified electrician
- JIB card
- 18th Edition
IPAF and PASMA competencies are advantageous but not essential.
