Summary
My clients were established in 1985, originally supplying service-engineers and back-up solutions to the construction industry & utility companies. They are the sole UK agents and distributors for many types of industrial equipment, and specialise in lorry loader cranes and excavator attachments, and associated equipment.
We are now looking for a Storesperson/Warehouse Assistant to help the Head Storeman. The position is temp-perm but they will look at straight permanent for the right candidate.
Monday-Friday 42.5 hours per week 8-5pm
Hourly rate £11.44
5 weeks holiday per year + stats
Parking
Duties:
• Loading and unloading using FLT
• Manual handling routines
• Stock control
• Assist in year end stock count
• Restocking shelves
• General warehouse duties
• Picking and packing
• Organising deliveries and paperwork
• Taking deliveries and booking goods in
• Liaising with other members of staff
Experience:
• Ideally have FLT license
• Ideally have some mechanical assembly experience
• Must have some warehouse/distribution experience
• Must have experience in picking, packing and scanning items
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be computer literate
