Summary
As a Ward Host/hostess Supervisor at Sodexo in, Nuffield Health Tonbridge Wells Hospital, TN2 4UL, You are critical to ensuring that we provide excellent all-around service for our patents. Your daily interaction with patients on the ward, helps to alleviate some of the stress that is often associated with hospitalisation. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:
- To manage teams’ rotas – to cover shifts when required when staff are on annual leave or off sick – this does include weekends.
- To self-manage shifts to ensure team are supported. This can be flexible between the hours of 7a.m – 8pm, but must consist of 6-hour shifts per day Monday – Friday
- To ensure staff training and refresher training is completely monthly, & complete monthly safety observations
- To induct new starters
- To ensure all compliance is completed & all due diligence documentation recorded correctly.
- To ensure kitchen is kept to a satisfactory level of cleanliness.
- To communicate with Catering Manager with any issues and have weekly check ins to ensure business is running efficiently.
- To communicate with Nurses to ensure patients receive outstanding care & service.
- To assist team in food preparation & follow correct Food Safety processes.
- Engage with patients.
- Ensure clear communication with Kitchen staff to ensure all food orders & dietary requirements are given accurately.
What you bring:
- Good Communication skills
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to understand and adhere to legislation at all times
- Ability to understand detailed instructions.
- Desirable - Food hygiene level 2 or above
