Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Childcare Settings Manager to oversee the daily operations of our setting. The Manager will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, as well as managing a team of practitioners. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership skills, a passion for working with children, and a strong commitment to the well-being and development of children.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the setting, ensuring compliance
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the setting.
- Manage a team of childcare practitioners , providing guidance, support, and ongoing training.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and address any concerns or issues.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss program planning, development, and child observations.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of the childcare program, making improvements as necessary.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure the effective operation of the setting
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including attendance, incidents, and child development observations.
- Stay updated on current research, trends, and best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:
- minimum level 3 qualification in a child related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and others
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Knowledge safety standards & procedures applicable to childcare facilities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
