Summary
Company client currently working with a specialty insurance client in London, who are recruiting for a Junior Syndicate Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.
You do not need to have syndicate experience to be successful in this role. Our client is looking for a professional in the market who has insurance , financial services or professional service experience and has sat within a financial reporting area and open to learning the syndicate piece. There is also no requirement to be fully qualified for this position , however it would be preferred if you were currently studying for your professional qualification.
In this role you would ensuring all syndicate accounting transactions are processed accurately , this also includes intercompany balances. You would also have exposure to reviewing syndicate accounting journals and bookkeeping postings. This is a broad role offering a lot of exposure for someone willing to learn. You wouldn't be pigeon-holed into one area as other responsibilities include;
* Compiling quarterly audit files
* Maintaining documents for syndicate accounting processes
* Provide support to the Lloyds Reporting Accountant in respect of SII Group submissions
