The Opportunity:

The University of Edinburgh Business School (UEBS) MBA Team is seeking to appoint to the role of MBA Programme Administrator. This is a critical role focused on managing the administration of our flagship Full-time and Executive MBA programmes ensuring that the service provided to our students and supporting academic staff is of an exceptional standard.

To succeed in this post, you will be able to demonstrate a professional and supportive approach, with high corporate level customer service standards. You will have experience of working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to ensure a high quality of student experience. We are looking for someone educated to HNC/HND or equivalent level with relevant work experience and a proven ability operate in a dynamic and customer focused environment.

A proven working knowledge of the work practices, processes and procedures involved in on-programme administration gained within the Higher Education sector will be highly beneficial.

This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week). We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, aligned with a friendly and helpful manner.
Strong relationship management skills with experience of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders
Well-developed digital literacy and systems skills, ideally with experience of working with corporate IT packages and Virtual Learning Environments
Ability to work under pressure, use initiative and to prioritise and organise workload effectively
Highly developed time management skills, with strong judgement and the ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively.
Good negotiating and influencing skills, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
