Summary
The PIID team at the Evelina London Childrens Hospital has a close working relationship with colleagues in Microbiology, Virology, Adult Infection and Infection Prevention and Control. The ID Consultant team currently comprises seven consultants (4.4 WTE) with two clinical senior fellows, a research fellow and a team of three Clinical Nurse Specialists. This post involves a weekly attending rota (approximately 1:5) Monday-Friday on call (non-resident), and currently involves a 1:5 weekend on call (non-resident) rota. Applicants should be MRCP/MRCPCH qualified and have extensive training and experience in general paediatrics and paediatric infectious diseases.
