About the Role:
Paragon Education is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate PE Teacher to join a school in Stourport on a full-time basis. This position is due to commence in September 2024 and offers the chance to inspire students and promote physical fitness and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that engage and motivate students, fostering a love for physical activity and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Provide differentiated instruction to accommodate the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all learners.
Organize and oversee extracurricular sports activities, competitions, and events to enhance students' overall physical development and teamwork skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum enhancements, assessments, and strategies to monitor student progress and attainment.
Promote positive attitudes towards physical education and sport, encouraging students to participate enthusiastically and develop confidence in their abilities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism or experience in teaching Physical Education at the secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting physical fitness, health, and well-being among young people.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
Commitment to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and equality in all aspects of teaching and learning.
