Location: Bridgwater
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- HNC in relevant discipline
- Experience of large multi-discipline construction projects
- Experience of engineering design delivery
- Experience working in the nuclear sector
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of nuclear quality assurance methods
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Degree in engineering
- Chartered status or working towards
- Understanding of PWR design and operations
- Good knowledge of CDM regulations
Role information:
- Manage procurement and manufacturing contracts
- Provide technical support to the project manager
- Manage the surveillance plan in accordance to quality requirements
- Manage technical issues during fabrication
- Ensure the smooth release of materials to site
- Liaise with the integration team to establish any material run off requirements
- Undertake any additional duties delegated by the engineering manager
