Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for



We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Mathematics specialist to join our dedicated Mathematics team.



The faculty prides itself on maintaining above-national-average GCSE results. We follow a well-resourced scheme of learning and offer AS level Further Maths.



To be successful, you will be committed to creating and securing high standards of learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour, as well as having a positive impact on the academic results throughout the department. You will have a passion for teaching Maths and a desire to motivate and engage students. The faculty has an ethos of building strong relationships with students to provide exceptionally high standards of teaching along with the best possible learning environment and educational resources that students, parents and the local community are proud of.



The Mathematics Faculty has 12 qualified teachers with a mix of age and experience. The Mathematics GCSE and A level results and Progress 8 have improved to above the national average; this trajectory is projected to continue.



We are housed in a 10-room purpose-built Mathematics block which has interactive Promethean screens in each room. The academy continually invests in CPD to ensure teaching is good or better.
