Experience of working with a SEND student
Experience of working in a similar role
Safeguarding and Child Protection responsibilities
Knowledge and understanding of the SEN Code of Practice
Awareness of the issues surrounding learning difficulties and differences with a specialist focus on Autism
Knowledge of current and emerging SEN information and issues
Knowledge of information and guidance documents from the DfE and OFSTED

Learning Support Officer – 32.5 hours per week
The hours will be Monday to Friday 8:15am until 3:15pm (30 mins lunch). Shift patterns may be altered depending on service needs.
Previous experience desirable, but training will be given. Candidates must be willing to undertake any relevant training.
