LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT – 36 HOURS PER WEEK/Term Time Only

Full or Part time considered

Due to the continued growth of the college, we are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our team of staff supporting students with their learning and additional support needs. You will proactively support teaching and learning, both in and out of the classroom including supporting learning with identified students and generally under the supervision of the teacher. You will also ensure that all students, including those with potential additional support needs, are given the opportunities they need to reach and exceed their potential.

A good standard of English, Maths and IT skills are essential, along with previous experience of working with students with additional needs in an education setting. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with all customers.

The salary range for the roles are in line with the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Spine Point 5 currently £22,736 per annum (Full time equivalent). As this role is 36 hours per week term time only the actual salary is £18,836.78 per annum.
