Summary

My client is looking for a Health & Social Care Teacher to work at a School around the Newbury area. This is a Part-time Permanent Position to start in September 2024 and it will be teaching the GCSE classes for 3 days per week (Monday-Wednesday). They would also consider candidates who are looking for Full-time work and want to teach the A-level classes aswell.
Salary: MPS/UPS
To be considered YOU MUST HAVE:
• Recent experience working as a Health & Social Care Teacher at a School or college
• A Relevant Teaching Qualification
• Experience of teaching the GCSE classes
If you are a teacher with dynamic qualities who has a proven record of raising pupil attainment, are able to motivate, inspire and support pupils of all abilities, are keen to further develop your own practice and to work in a team, then we would like to hear from you.
Job Specific Requirements
• Ability to teach the full range of timetabled courses in the subject area
• Experience in the subject area, and of planning and assessment of pupil learning
• A knowledge of current issues and developments in curriculum Experience of curriculum development
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
• Ability to effectively manage the learning and teaching of individual pupils, groups and classes
• Ability to prioritise the work of the subject department Proven organisational skills
• Ability to use appropriate interpersonal skills when relating to staff, pupils and parents.
