We have an exciting opportunity for Night Care Assistants to join our friendly, supportive team at our Ryde care home.
Fairhaven Care Home provides high quality, 24-hour care for up to 21 residents who are no longer able to manage at home. Our dedicated and experienced team ensure we meet the resident’s individual care and social needs.
As a Care Assistant you will:
• provide individual care as required by each resident in order to meet their personal needs whilst ensuring that each person's dignity and respect is upheld
• ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting residents with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing. Paying particular attention to assisting residents who have limited mobility, or physical difficulties, making the best use of aids provided
• support and encourage residents to maintain their independence with daily living
• answer Call bell systems throughout the night, to give residents peace of mind.
Whether you are completing a care plan document, assisting a resident to have a shower, reading the morning newspaper to a resident, or assisting someone to have breakfast, you should do so with care and kindness.

A competitive salary is offered, which will be discussed at the interview. We are looking to fill part-time positions of 24 hours a week.
