Senior Care Assistant - Oakview Lodge, Welwyn Garden City, Part of The Country Court Family
Hours: Days 45 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times to be discussed at interview)
Oakview Lodge Nursing Home provides family-led nursing, residential and dementia care in a quiet area of the beautiful Welwyn Garden City. Situated on the site of the old Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the friendly and compassionate care team delivers outstanding, personalised care to residents with a range of needs.

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:• Helping our residents with personal support and care,• Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs• Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.• Serving meals/drinks and assisted feeding• Interacting with our residents on a personal level• Maintaining care plans

Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
Have a friendly & caring attitude.
Able to engage well with the residents and their families.
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this.
Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
