An opportunity to play your part

We are seeking talented Senior Software Quality Engineers to join our Digital QA team. You will be responsible for designing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks. Supporting a team of software quality engineers and collaborating with developers, product managers, and customers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Location: You can work in Windsor/home; we have people working all over the UK but also a range of office locations.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data for various software products and features.

  • Perform manual and automated testing using various tools and frameworks

  • Identify, analyse, and report software defects and issues

  • Support a team of software quality engineers

  • Provide technical guidance and feedback to developers and product managers

  • Review and improve quality processes and methodologies

  • Communicate test results and status to stakeholders

  • Translate principles from the Quality Engineering Manager and implement them into their area

  • Seek feedback from the teams and act on it

  • Lead show and tells /demos

Technical Skills required

  • 4+ years of experience in software quality engineering or testing

  • 2+ years of experience in leading or managing a team of software quality engineers or testers

  • Experience writing tests in JavaScript (required)

  • Experience with various testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress, etc.

  • Experience with various testing types such as functional, performance, accessibility, visual, etc.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.

  • Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset

  • Experience writing and running API Testing

  • Experience of using Continuous Integration tools such as Azure DevOps

  • Test Automation experience - CI/CD frameworks
