What does this Kitchen Assistant job involve?
• Meal Preparation: Prepare meals for residents.
• Kitchen and Utensil Cleaning: Clean serveries, kitchens, crockery, cutlery, cooking/serving utensils, and kitchen equipment daily.
• Crockery Distribution and Collection: Distribute and collect crockery from residents and manage tea trolleys.
• Hygiene and Requests: Maintain a clean, hygienic environment and follow instructions from the Home Manager or Head Chef.
Am I the right person for this Kitchen Assistant job?
We are looking for someone who has:
• The right to live and work in the UK.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a team, a caring nature and a positive attitude
• An understanding of Health and Safety, Infection Control and COSHH.
• Previous experience of working in a similar position is desirable but not essential.
