Summary

About the role

You will be responsible to lead the Process & Project Management team, ensuring we have the right processes, systems & timeframes in place to facilitate the on time planning, reporting and delivery of our product development projects & capacity planning.

You will be responsible for

  • Establish the function\'s, documentation, systems & WOW. Focusing on simplification & efficiency.
  • Review and redefine the annual project & capacity planning process considering key inputs needed, PGRs & timings.
  • Reset forecasting and governance WOW to drive maximum value.
  • Set up & manage an overview of all projects & critical paths to ensure a live & accurate view of activity for capacity.
  • Review system requirements eg MPD & future builds planned to ensure they meet the needs of our team.
  • Lead review of the milestone process to simplify and ensure more efficient delivery of OB products to market.
  • Support recruitment & set up of new project manager roles.
  • Manage team of 2 alongside day to day project management of a small category area
  • Ensure a 18-24m rolling view of the product plan to facilitate delivery of key moment projects & capacity planning.
  • Support PDLT with facilitation of key meetings, planning & paperwork incl. agenda, actions, next steps (FLT & PPLT)
  • Focus on lessons learnt & continuous improvement to ensure we are working in the simplest, most efficient ways.
  • Ensure Product Plan documentation is kept up to date.
  • Oversee continual evolution of MPD ensuring it meets PD needs & data management is improved.

You will need

  • Experience of driving change (ideally processes & systems) and embedding more effective & efficient ways of working
  • Proven track record of successful project management in a fast-paced environment (ideally food industry)
  • Understanding of stage & gate process or similar methodology
