Applications are invited for two posts for Clinical Fellow (Higher ST3-5) in Stroke Medicine to commence as soon as possible for 12 months.

This post offers an opportunity to join one of the leading Stroke research and clinical groups in the UK. You will join a team of Stroke Registrar’s and Higher Fellows and gain excellent experience and supervision across the entire Stroke pathway.

Clinical Fellows also gain experience in stroke medicine where the full range of Hyperacute and Rehabilitation care is offered at Addenbrooke’s, including Thrombolysis and interventional Neuroradiological procedures such as Clot Retrieval and Stenting. There is excellent Neurosurgical support for procedures such as Hemicraniectomy.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application is required.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
