Role Purpose: This position is based at our Duns Headquarters. Our Dispatch, Stock & Quality Control Assistant will report to the Dispatch Team Leader. On a daily basis, you will ensure that all customer orders are packaged beautifully and sent out on time. You will liaise with couriers, suppliers and other departments to ensure that stock is received and allocated correctly using our digital inventory system.

Responsibilities:
Complete the twice daily picklist ensuring that all items picked are packaged beautifully and sent out in a timely manner to the correct customer.

Dispatch parcels in a timely manner using the correct courier service.

Ensure all Priority Parcels are dispatched within our advertised time frame.

Ensure all fabric required by our suppliers is ready to be dispatched on a daily basis.

Ensure that all incoming deliveries are cleared and allocated on the day that they arrive.

Using our customer relationship management system, clear all tasks assigned to the Dispatch Department.

Work alongside Customer Service to ensure that garments pass quality control and prompt solutions are found for the customer if they do not.

Cut cloth as required for customer orders. Ensure all scrap cloth is bagged up for reuse and nothing is wasted.

Label all new stock items before being courier to shop locations or being allocated to the appropriate location in the stock room.

Count stock items and ensure the digital inventory system matches the physical stock count.

As required, assist with stock transfers for Company events.

Always maintain the Stock room to the highest standard; all shelves, drawers and units are organised, stock and fabric is neatly placed or folded and put away in the correct location, at all times. Floors and walkways are clear at all times and swept or vacuumed regularly.

Remove all waste cardboard and rubbish and put this in the outside skips on a regular basis for a weekly refuse collection.

Restock your work area with tools and kit required to complete daily tasks.

Ensure that all customer details are correct and up to date on our CRM system.

Complete any additional tasks and projects assigned to you.

Attend any staff meetings and Quarterly updates.
