As part of our Asset Management team in our Housing Management Contract, you’ll manage a team of surveyors and technical officers to deliver capital investment programmes, adaptations, ad-hoc works, and home improvement agency works on behalf of Cheshire West and Chester Council.

What you’ll be doing:
• All aspects of managing and organising colleagues within the Asset Management Team, delivering investment works to ForHousing assets.
• Managing budgets and reporting to the council and ForHousing management.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the investment strategy.
• Using asset management data to ensure capital programme and individual spending decisions are supported.
• Seeking sources of external funding to support investment activity.
• Ensuring effective communication with customers, leaseholders, and other stakeholders.
• Championing best practice in asset management.
• Working with the commercial team to prepare tender documentation and supporting the procurement process.

What we’re looking for:
• Full UK driving licence and use of a vehicle to travel between work locations.
• HNC / HND in Building Construction or equivalent experience would be ideal.
• Membership of a recognised professional body would be ideal but isn’t essential to apply.
• Experience in development and planning of investment works.
