Additional salary information: Salary: £6.40 per hour/£12,313 per annum (from 1st April 2024) for all ages in their first year of the apprenticeship. The Real Living Wage is then paid for the remainder of the apprenticeship contract following completion of the first year.

Summary

The role will involve a range of administrative duties including assisting with the preparation and running of meetings. Day to day, this will include, but is not limited to, maintaining a plan of topics for future OD and Change team meetings, writing agendas, and circulating documents. In your role, you will also respond to enquiries, update the OD and Change online information pages and organise team files. You will also assist with the planning and management of events like our Big Hearts Big Changes Annual Awards as well as other council wide events.

We will support you to work and study at the same time, which means that you will receive six hours of time a week to complete your Business Administration (Level 3) Apprenticeship. Your manager will ensure that you are supported to complete your apprenticeship, whilst gaining real on-the-job experience within OD and Change.
