Summary

Your new company

My client is a leader in their field who is proud to boast a vast portfolio of loyal customers.

Your new role

Reporting to a supportive Reward and Compensation Manager in a team who is respected by the wider business, this is a 12-month FTC (Fixed Term Contract) opportunity for a meticulous Reward Analyst to cover a colleague going off on maternity leave.

In this varied role, you will focus on the data and analytics required to support all aspects of the annual reward and compensation processes. You will manage large data sets using Excel (PivotTable's) to conduct salary benchmarking at different levels, review total compensation packages and base pay (including equal / gender / ethnicity pay).
Other responsibilities may include the preparation of employee redundancy and exit schedules, practical advice on reward processes and providing market trends and insights as required. There will also be the chance to be part of projects supporting other teams across the business with strategic priorities and the impact that employee rewards have on these.

This position offers flexible working between their Southampton office (with free parking) and home each week. Working hours: 35 / week, 9am-5pm (plus 1 hour lunch) Monday-Friday.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you must have experience working in a Reward / Compensation role and managing 2 or more reward cycles, ideally with a working understanding of Willis Towers Watson compensation data and Workday. As mentioned, you must have a high level of proficiency with MS Office applications, in particular Excel. You will require a high level of numeracy and an analytical approach with a need to be comfortable handling large sets of data, ideally within a professional service / corporate environment.

You could have been a Reward / Compensation Advisor or Analyst elsewhere or a Reward Administrator keen to take a step-up. An HR / People Generalist with Reward / Compensation responsibilities as above will be considered too.

What you'll get in return

This is a rare opportunity for a Reward professional to join a leading business in the local area for a 12-month FTC in a diverse, interesting role.

You will receive a market-led salary between £37,000-£45,000 (DOE) / annum, free parking, hybrid working as above and 26 days' holiday +BH's, plus a generous non-contributary pension and bonus scheme.
