Summary
No two days will be the same within this team, covering ever changing assessment areas youll always be on the go! Alongside your team you will need to identify patients appropriate for therapy input, complete the assessment, treatment and discharge planning of a variety of patients and liaise with community teams to ensure patients are able to leave hospital in the safest way. You will also need to manage the day to day running of the team alongside the clinical lead physiotherapist as well as providing evidence and audits as to the effectiveness of this new team. Were looking for someone who is dedicated to service improvement who can lead from the front and can inspire others to engage in change. Your enthusiasm for service development and improvement will be infectious and allow yourself, the team and the service to reach its full potential. Youll have the opportunity to attend and lead in-service training both within the team and as part of Core Therapies such as the cognitive and perceptual training led by our Occupational Therapy team. You will also lead on regular team meetings for your speciality allowing the team to share ideas, information and learning as well as having the opportunity to just get together and catch up. There is also band 7 Occupational Therapy forum and a Clinical Leads forum that meet regularly providing a space for discussion with your peers as well as strategic updates and workforce developments.
