About the Role

Lincolnshire adult care are leading the way in how the lives of vulnerable adults with a physical disability or elderly frail and their families are changed to enable longer independence and connecting to the important resources local communities have to offer. This has been noticed by other authorities who are wanting to know more about the conversation model and strength-based approach we utilise here at Lincolnshire County Council.

The work of the Stamford and Spalding teams involves having conversations with vulnerable adults and their support networks to understand what their goals are, what is important to them, what they aspire to and what they want to change. We will help you learn the new skills required to undertake these more co-productive conversations which will not only aid you in the work you do but also in everyday life.

Our teams continue to face challenges, but we are really proud that we’ve still continued to provide high quality services to our local residents. We continue to strive for more creative ways of improving services and relationships with other partners, such as the NHS and care providers.

The Stamford and Spalding teams are continually committed to the principles of choice, independence and personalisation.
