Summary
Required September or sooner 32.5 hours per week term time plus 1 week.
St Frideswides Primary and North Hinksey Primary school are looking for a
school caretaker/cleaner to join the team working at both school sites.
The main focus of the role is security, cleaning and maintenance of the building, health & safety, fire safety and statutory compliance.
We are looking for someone who is active, committed, kind and dedicated. Someone who has a positive attitude and can build excellent relationships with colleagues and the school community. Has a sound awareness of health and safety issues. Has a clean driving licence and is willing to drive the school minibus. Can manage the planned maintenance programme and oversee the delivery of statutory compliance tasks. Can maintain accurate and up to date records. Can carry out routine maintenance and basic repairs. Can spot opportunities to improve efficiencies and working practices and take appropriate action. Holds a clean driving licence.
This position will be based at St Frideswides Primary School, Cricket Road, Oxford but will require the successful candidate to also fulfil some of their duties at North
Hinksey Primary School, North Hinksey Lane, Oxford.
