Newcastle College is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated term time only Specialist Support Practitioners to join a passionate team that supports the achievements of adult students within the English & maths curriculum area.
You will support adult students both inside and outside of the classroom, helping them to access and understand the curriculum and progress in their learning, while encouraging the development of independent skills and confidence.
You will be confident providing one-to-one, group and whole class support.
As the successful candidate, you will be an enthusiastic and adaptable person, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to inclusive education. You will have Level 2 English & Maths or equivalent and a level 3 or significant industry experience in English or Maths. You will be able to work flexibly, including evening work, and supporting at our off-site provision.
