The Phoenix Youth Project is looking to employ two Youth Development Workers. To continue with the development of existing youth provision in Cleator Moor and Frizington.
Both roles will involve working three evening youth work sessions a week and occasional weekends to meet the needs of local young people. You will be based at our Cleator Moor office for the daytime elements of the role. The 30 hour role will be working in Cleator Moor Youth centre and the 16 hour in Frizington Youth Centre for the evening sessions.
These are exciting job opportunities which are challenging, but equally rewarding. We don't expect you to have youth work qualifications or have worked in a youth club before. Its your inter personal skills that we are interested in. This post is a regulated activity and subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure in the event of being offered this position, costs of which will be paid for by the charity.
