Summary

Sodexo is looking for a dedicated Security Officers to join us at Location/Postcode! If you are a vigilant professional with a commitment to safety and security, then we want you to be part of our organisation! Join our team and contribute to maintaining a secure and safe environment for all!

What you’ll do:

  • Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security protocols

  • Monitoring access control, weighbridge and other protective systems

  • Act as a first line response to activations & incidents

  • Log and transfer calls, relay messages and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors and staff

  • Travelling between Tutbury and Buxton sites as required

  • To carry out regular patrols throughout the shift

What you bring:

  • Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities 

  • Excellent communication and awareness skills, with the ability to build professional working relationships

  • An agile and adaptable approach

  • Experience in working in a similar role and computer literacy

  • Knowledge of security techniques, site and local emergency procedures

  • A valid SIA and Full driving Licence is essential upon applying

  • BS758 Vetting - if successful, you will be required to provide 5 year working history
