Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for



We
are looking for a committed and motivated individual to be our front line of
support in the college Learning Resource Centre (LRC). Promoting the LRC to staff and students as an
effective centre for independent learning, arranging for resources to be
available relevant to the curriculum, utilising the Library Management System
and providing a wide range of other services.
The successful candidate
should have experience of using a computerised library database, an
understanding of library cataloguing and classification systems and a good
level of IT skill, along with a customer service approach to work.



The
successful candidate will also be responsible for transport coordination which
will include advising students and parents about purchasing bus passes,
managing the transport information desk at open events and managing waiting
lists and capacity on buses.
