• Offer emotional and practical
support to parents/carers, children and families by building trusting
relationships.

• Work alongside agencies to assess
the needs of families referred for support.

• Keep high quality records and
assist with the preparation of reports.

• Act as a point of contact for
families in need of support.

• Provide pastoral support to
children.

• Encourage children to interact and
engage with activities and learning and develop children’s confidence and
self-esteem.

• Provide support for children as
and when required, including during lunchtimes.

• Have a flexible approach to work
and a commitment to supporting others.

• Build excellent relationships with
staff, children and families.
