Summary
I am working with a private based accountancy practice who are looking for a semi senior accountant to join their small team.
The role will involve but will not be limited to:
Handling multiple customer accounts
Working closely with the owner and existing bookkeeper - assisting with training and quality checking of information
Conducting various financial reports
Completing end of year accounts accurately and within timeframes
Completing VAT returns
Offering advice to customers regarding finance based questions
Checking of expenses and payroll
Submitting tax returns on behalf of customers
Using a variety of accountancy software packages such as; Sage, Xerox, quickbooks etc
Ideally you will be part or full ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualified
For this position we are looking to speak with candidates who have a minimum of 3 years experience within a practice environment, this is essential.
This role can be considered either on a part time or full time basis, 3-5 days a week between 21-37.5 hours per week.
It will be a full time office based position, due to the nature of the work and having to be there to liaise with the existing members of the team.
The office is based within a busy shared building on the outskirts of Morley (Leeds) with operating hours between 7am - 6pm, so you have flexibility on your start and finish times.
There is free on site parking, in a private car park or off road outside the building.
In return my client is looking to pay between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
